Winter Hair Care Routine!

In this blog, I go over my favorite winter hair care routine featuring the best products from Rebel Femme Shop!

This winter, my skin has been SUPER dry. Like, I need to apply moisturizer every hour dry. In this blog, I go over my favorite winter hair care routine featuring the best products from Rebel Femme Shop!

Step 1: Treat and Exfoliate

Step 1: deal with irritation if you have any. I personally do, so I highly recommend starting with Moroccanoil Dry or Oily Scalp treatment. I do the Dry Scalp Treatment. You simply part hair into sections, apply 3–6 drops in each section, and massage gently into scalp. Leave on for 5–10 minutes. Then, comb through and rinse. It is super easy and makes a huge difference by addressing the needs of a dry and flaky scalp, instantly relieving irritation, dryness and itchiness.

One major thing I have to stress in my hair and skin routine is you need to exfoliate. Exfoliation removes build-up from dead skin cells and products that can clog the pores. It also will increase blood flow to your hair and scalp, which can create hair growth!

I love using K18 Detox Shampoo because it cleanses hair and scalp. With this shampoo, the excess buildup is broken down and cleared with a non-stripping lather that unclogs hair follicles, while getting rid of dirt and oil. As a result, it is a perfect canvas for applying K18 Molecular Repair Hair Mask and other products!

I reccomend using this product every other time you wash your hair for optimal results!

Step 2: Moisturize

As mentioned, you should exfoliate your scalp every other time you wash. So what should you be using in the meantime? My personal favorite is the Loma Moisturizing Shampoo and Treatment. It smells like Mango, Orange, and Tangerine, so the smell creates a relaxing shower experience.

Benefits of Loma Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioning Treatment:

  • Replenish and restore moisture for silky, shiny hair
  • Great for hydrating dry scalps
  • Helps control frizz and preserve color
  • LOMA’s Moisturizing Shampoo can make a great, safe bubble bath!
  • Moisturizing Shampoo is LOMA’s most effective healthy scalp solution

This duo should help with your dry scalp significantly. As mentioned, you can also use the shampoo as a cleanser or a bubble bath!

Step 3: Add a deep conditioner to your routine!

I love to treat myself to a deep conditioning treatment when I’m in the bath or even if I’m watching a show or movie. It is a very easy way to combat dry hair while doing absolutely nothing. Loma Deep Conditioner works to restructure and strengthen the internal bonds of each strand of hair. Aka, it is amazing for your hair arsenal.

hydration mask

Another great mask is Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask. It is a luxurious, rich, and creamy deep conditioner formulated for medium to thick, dry hair. This mask is infused with antioxidant-rich argan oil and nourishing ingredients, so it hydrates and conditions while dramatically improving hair’s texture, elasticity, shine, and manageability.

If you have dry, damaged hair in need of repair, Moroccanoil Restorative Hair Mask is a 5–7-minute treatment for use on hair damaged by chemical treatments or heat styling. Its high-performance formula contains argan oil, shea butter, and keratin proteins that help fortify hair, increase elasticity and promote a healthier look and feel. You have to be careful with this because it is extremely strong.

Last but not least, Olaplex No.8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask is a great way to combat dry hair. Infused with patented Olaplex Bond Building technology, this highly concentrated reparative mask adds shine, smoothness & body while providing intense moisture to treat damaged hair. Your hair will be so visibly healthy, you can skip the styling!

So, what should you use after conditioning it? Well, I will let you know in part 2, coming soon!
