Goodbye Summer Blues, Hello Autumn Hues! Time To Transform Your Hair For Fall!

In this blog, I go over my favorite Fall Haircolors and why you should transform your hair for fall from a dreamy summer blonde to a fall fantasy.

I know you just spent hours in the salon chair to be the perfect beach blonde for summer. Sadly, summer is OVER! In this blog, I go over my favorite Fall Haircolors. Also, why you should transform your hair from a dreamy summer blonde to a fall fantasy.

Flooding the feed of all your social media platforms are the mega transformations.

Going from a light blonde to rich auburn, or chocolate brown. If you were waiting for a sign from the universe to embrace your dark side and transform your hair for fall, here it is!

Change can be scary! Especially if you’ve never experimented with a darker color. Understanding which tones and colors will compliment your eyes and skin tone. This can make a difference in the end result of your look.

Check your tones:

How do you know what will suit you best?

First, check your beautiful eyes. If you see any gold flecks, usually found in hazel and brown eyes, you may have more of a warm complexion.

If you have blue or green eyes, you may have cooler tones in your skin. Another option is your wrist.

Your veins help pinpoint the natural undertones in your skin. For example, if you have purple or blue veins, you are cool-toned, but if your veins are green, you have warmer undertones.

If your complexion has warmer undertones, meaning the natural hue of your skin generally has gold or yellow tones, a rich chocolate or a shiny chestnut will look so perfect with all of the fall tones in your wardrobe.

However, just because it’s fall does not mean you have to go dark. By choosing lighter honey, golden red, or bronde, it will compliment your golden skin, giving you the perfect amount of warmth.

With cooler undertones it is best to go for more of a butterscotch tone, allowing for a lighter tone, but still gives you all of the fall feels. Another option is to go for a medium red tone, such as amber or cinnamon. If you’re a brunette, a walnut or mocha tone can complement your cool skin.

If you feel your skin is mostly neutral, it means you have a balance of all tones. You have lots of options, if you’re feeling like you want to match your Pumpkin Spice Latte, go for a light warm brown with accents of copper! If your inner Wednesday Addams is ready to come out, a solid blue black is perfect for the spooky season.
